Julia Walker

Julia Walker has dedicated her career to serving public entities in both the K-12 public school context as well as in the federal government, where she provided general counsel and served in the role of Special Assistant United States Attorney. She is particularly adept at understanding and advising clients on complex statutory and regulatory schemes. Julia's extensive experience litigating in federal court and before administrative bodies equips her with the skills necessary to guide schools through day-to-day issues. Julia uses years of practical experience to build proactive and forward-thinking training for school staff. Her approach is to help educators develop a deep understanding of the law so that their practical application is informed and readily applied regardless of the complexity of the issues.

Julia’s areas of practice focus on education law, including special education and Section 504 compliance, as well as employment law.
